Jonathan Robert Obituary

He leaves behind his Dad, Claude J. Robert and Mom, Florence B. Robert who loved him very much. He also leaves behind his older brother, Brian P. Robert, who was his best friend.
Jonathan, or Jon for those who knew him was a kind, caring, compassionate soul. Jon had both his Mom and Dad living with him to help with his Dad who is disabled. He gave always without complaint.
He had a love of hockey and the Montreal Canadiens as his Dad was born in Canada. He also loved soccer, especially Manchester United.
Jon asked for little, yet gave so much. He was an employee of The Hartford for over 10 years. He had such admiration and respect for those he worked with.
Jon also leaves behind many uncles, aunts and cousins. Jon was a graduate from Ellington High School. He received his bachelor's degree in Accounting as well as a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Eastern Connecticut State University.
Jon's favorite thing to say when he was helping others was "no worries". He will be very missed.
His family will receive friends on Thursday, March 9, 2023, from 5-7 p.m., at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Rd., South Windsor. Burial will be private at the request of his family.

Will miss our many conversations about ManU and Hockey. As a Bruins fan I appreciated your love for the game and your mutual respect for the player versus the rivalry. Red Devils fans will miss your knowledge, enthusiasm and loyalty. Hopefully will hoist another trophy this year in your honor. I heard St Peter's looking for a center midfielder...know you'll fit right in regardless being a devil's fan. I'll raise a glass to remember the many good times. Thoughts and prayers.

Jon you were an awesome guy and I still remember all our hockey conversations from elementary school at Windermere all the way through high school!! I'm really happy we had some classes together senior year!! Rest in Peace buddy and Go Habs!!
