Joseph Michael Aspinall

Joseph M. Aspinall, age 59, of Budd Lake, NJ died on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at his home.
Joseph was born in Dover, NJ to the late Floyd W. and Elizabeth Aspinall. He was a resident of Budd Lake for many years. Joseph was a parishioner of St. Jude Thaddeus Church, Budd Lake.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Floyd J. Aspinall, Carol Sukovich and Billy Aspinall.
He is survived by his sister Angie Presco (John); sister-in-law, Jeanne Aspinall; nieces and nephews: Kelly Sukovich, Jessie Presco Georgianni (Chris), Richard Aspinall (Asia), Tom Sukovich, Matt Presco and Jenn Anderson (Curt); great-nieces: Lily, Rylie and Ellie; and great-nephews: Mason, Benjamin and Enzo. Joe is also survived by is beloved cat, Finny, who whenever he arrived home, would say "Hi Finny, Daddy's home". He is also survived by his Loving Godmother, Barbara Nemeth and his cherished cousin, Ginny Meyers.
It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Joe, a man whose warmth, kindness and gentle spirit touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His love for cooking was more than just a passion - it was an expression of love and a way of bringing people together and brought him pleasure to see people enjoying his homemade dishes.
Beyond the kitchen, Joe had a gift for working with computers, always eager to lend a hand and solve any problem. His curiosity and love for learning shone through in his enjoyment of watching documentaries and was always seeking to understand the world a little better.
But perhaps what set Joe apart the most was his way with words. Whether through a heartfelt conversation, text message or email, he had a way of making everyone feel seen and valued. His words will linger in our hearts and be a lasting reminder of his gentle soul.
A memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at 11:30AM at St. Jude Thaddeus Church, 17 Mt. Olive Rd, Budd Lake, NJ. Inurnment will take place in the Spring at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Chester. Arrangements entrusted to Morgan Funeral Home, 31 Main St, Netcong, NJ 07857.
