Obituary for Tim Dazzo
Tim Dazzo, age 78, of Scaly Mountain, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2024, in Miami, Florida, at Baptist Hospital. Tim resided in Scaly Mountain, North Carolina, and Miami, Florida. He was born to the late Joe and Mary Dazzo and is survived by his brother Frank B. Dazzo and sister-in-law Olga Dazzo along with many cousins in New Orleans, St. Louis, and elsewhere in Louisiana.
Tim graduated from Miami High School and earned his bachelor's degree from Florida State University. He enjoyed several outdoor hobbies, including hiking, fishing, duck hunting, and football games. A devout Catholic, Tim's faith was a central part of his life.
Tim will be remembered for his kind heart and will be deeply missed by his immediate family, many other relatives, and friends.
Services for Tim:
Visitation: Monday, October 28th, from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM
Recitation of the Rosary at 6:00 PM by Father Luis Alvarez of St. Helena Catholic Church
Location: Hunter Funeral Home, 423 Warwoman Road, Clayton, Georgia
Funeral Mass:
Tuesday, October 29th, at 1:00 PM.
Father Jason Barone, will celebrate the mass.
Location: Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church, 315 N 5th Street, Highlands, NC
Interment:
Immediately following the Funeral Mass
There will be a special blessing for Joe and Mary Dazzo at their gravesite, followed by Tim's graveside services.
Location: Highlands Memorial Park, 86 Memorial Park Drive, Highlands, NC
