Joseph M. Eberly, 86, of New Providence, entered into rest at Hospice and Community Care on Monday, February 10, 2025. Born in Dauphin County, he was the son of the late Joseph and Florence (Wolf) Eberly. He was the loving husband of Maria B. (Sanabria) Eberly for 33 years.
Joe retired from ALCOA after 26 years of employment. During his retirement, he worked part time for Faulkner Honda. Joe was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan and also enjoyed fishing, riding his Honda motorcycle, and doing color pencil art.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by 3 children: Joseph Eberly (Angel) of Baltimore; Dawn Staub (Brian) of York; and John Eberly of Halifax. Also surviving are grandchildren: Chris Baker, Samantha Staub, Jospeh Eberly and William Eberly and a sister, Naomi Roberts. He was preceded in death by 3 sisters: Edith Doukas, Sylvia Stauffer and Florence Hamilton.
A Memorial Mass will take place at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 955 Robert Fulton Hwy., Quarryville, PA on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:30 - 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Community Care, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604.
