On Friday, February 3, 2023, Joseph Anthony Eslich, beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away. He was 84 years old. He was born in Beaver, PA but grew up in Canton, Ohio and graduated from McKinley High School. He served 2 years in the Army at Fort Campbell, KY as a paratrooper. He returned home and married his love, Roberta and moved to Louisville, Ohio in 1964 where they started a family and raised their 3 children. Joe worked at Sugardale for 54 years before retiring at age 74. He loved helping his children with their activities through their childhood; horses, softball, and football.
Preceded in death by son, Joseph Christopher Eslich.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Roberta Eslich; daughters, Cynthia (John) Matthews, Christine (Mark) Haggarty; and grandson, John Joseph Matthews.
Calling hours will be held Monday, February 6, 2023 from 5:00-7:00pm, followed by a Memorial Service at 7:00pm with Pastor M.D. Gammill officiating. A Burial Service will be held at Ohio Western Reserve Cemetery in Rittman at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Joes name to K9s for Warriors.
