Joseph Pandrea Obituary
He was born on September 11, 1955 to the late Henry and Edna (Smith) Pandrea in Massillon.
Joe went to Washington High School and owned and operated Papa Joe's Nuts and Snacks and then worked for Crown Vending.
He played softball and was inducted into The Stark County Slow Pitch Softball Hall of Fame. Papa was an avid poker player, who never missed a flop. Joe held a Red/Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. Papa Joe was dedicated to his family.
Joe is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Pamela (Gearhart) Pandrea; their children, Joseph H. (Crystal) Pandrea, Jr. and Jeffery W. ( Jackie) Pandrea; grandchildren, Emily M. (Justin) Morckel, Tyler J. Pandrea, Sarah E. (Nick) Parrish, Alyssa D. (Brandon) Dean, Ashlea N. Pandrea, Isaac W. Pandrea and Kyle D. Pandrea; great-grandchildren, Ayvah M. Morckel, Parker A. Morckel, Myles O. Morckel, Sylis J. Parrish, Brycen H.D. Parrish and Lukas S. Parrish; siblings, John G. (Sheila) Pandrea, Starr M. (Paul) Smith, George J. Pandrea, Henry J. (Virginia) Pandrea and Joyce M. White; and brothers-in-law, David Carter, William, Michael and James Gearhart.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, Thomas F. Pandrea, Rose M. Gardner, Janet M. Carter, and Frank T. Pandrea
Visitation will be held Friday, December 16, 2022, 2:00 pm-4:30pm at Paquelet Funeral Home, Massillon.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 16, 2022, 4:30 pm at the Paquelet Funeral Home, Massillon, Ohio, with Rev. Gary Smith, officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Stark County Slow Pitch Softball Hall of Fame or to the family.
