Born on January 5, 1968, in the vibrant city of Denver, Colorado, Joseph’s life was a harmonious blend of laughter, love, and the melodious strains of his passion for music.
A graduate of West High School, he embarked on a remarkable musical journey that would leave an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know him. A kind and welcoming soul, Joseph was beloved for his great sense of humor and his ability to bring joy to those around him. His laughter echoed through the hearts of family and friends, a testament to the warmth of his character and the genuine love he nurtured for humanity.
Joseph's significant contributions to the world of music were noteworthy. He composed orchestra pieces for the renowned Denver Symphony and played with the esteemed Queen City Jazz Band as well as T.U.B.A. Each note he created was infused with his spirit, enriching the lives of many and capturing the essence of the joy that music brings.
He leaves behind a loving daughter, Melody Potter, and a devoted brother, Michael Potter, alongside a host of family and friends who will forever cherish the memories they shared. Their lives have been immeasurably brightened by his presence and nurturing spirit.
Joseph is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Maria Potter, who now joins him in eternal harmony. Together, they shall continue to inspire through their love and the music that flows in their legacy.
