Joseph M. Ramer, of Elton, age 72, died on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at his son's home under the care of his family and LeRoyer Hospice. He was born on July 9, 1952 in Antigo, a son of Clyde and Ethel (Bebeau) Ramer.
A graduate of White Lake High School, Joe was employed for over 35 years at Robbins Sports Surfaces, retiring in 2014.
He enjoyed riding motorcycle, hunting, hobby farming, and word puzzles. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandson.
Survivors include two sons, Adam (Stephanie) Ramer of Elton and Jake Ramer of Brownsville, Texas; a grandson Briar Ramer of Elton; three sisters, Pat Rose of Pleasant Prairie, Peggy Ramer of Wisconsin Rapids, and Vickie Ellis of Kenosha; a brother, James Ramer of Antigo; sister-in-law, Cecelia Ramer of Antigo and his ex-wife, Catherine Ramer of Brownsville, Texas.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Deborah Ramer, Donna (Garth) Huettl and Barbara Constantineau; two brothers, William and Ray Ramer; a brother-in-law, Donald Rose; and two sisters-in-law, Mary Jane and Nollie Ramer.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 12 at 1 p.m. at Four Corners Assembly of God in White Lake with Rev. Marvin Kindle officiating.
Burial will take place in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Elton.
Visitation will be held on Saturday at the church from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Joseph, please visit our floral store.
