Joseph Michael Roscitt III

Joseph Michael Roscitt, III, age 46, of Greenwood Lake, NY died peacefully on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Joseph was born in Manhattan, NY and resided in Franklin Lakes before moving to Greenwood Lake, NY 21 years ago. Joseph was an electrician with IBEW, Local 164 in Paramus, NJ. He is survived by his parents; Debra Roscitt of Fort Lee, NJ and Joseph M. Roscitt, Jr. of Pompano Beach, FL, his sister, Cassandra Roscitt of Pompano Beach, FL, his two nieces; Alexa Leonard and Brianna Bascietto and her husband, Joseph, a nephew, Jeffrey Fogarty and his great nephew, Joseph Salvatore. Also surviving are his aunt, Lesley Marshall, his uncles; Paul Roscitt and his wife, Camille and Richard Roscitt and his wife, Nicha, his two cousins; Anthony and Andrew Lamanna and countless extended family and friends. Everyone who knew Joseph is brokenhearted but blessed to have been a part of his life. The visitation for Joseph will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM and Sunday, June 26, 2022 from 2:00 – 6:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ 07481. Prayers will begin on Monday, June 27, 2022 at 9:45 AM at the Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at Church of the Nativity, 315 Prospect Street, Midland Park, NJ 07432. A private cremation will follow.
