Born August 5, 1948, Joseph Egan Voll left this world on June 6, 2025. Passionate about all things fast, he will be best remembered for his dedicated service to the Madison Regatta Boats and Rescue.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Joseph and Mary Egan Voll, and his nephew, Jason Isaacs. He is survived by Ruth, his beloved wife of 48 years; his three children, Krissy Bond Voll, Joseph (Heather Mack), and Victoria (Twayne Sheckles); eight grandchildren, Jasmine, Stephen, Alexis, Devonte, Bria, Khylee, Logan, and Makayla; his sister, Marynell Isaacs (Don); many others, including great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He is also survived by their dear family friend Shanna Columbus, with whom he shared a close and meaningful bond.
Celebration of life for Joe will be from 1-4PM on Saturday, June 28 at the Corner Cafe, 9307 New La Grange Road, Louisville, KY 40242. If you are planning on attending please let his wife, Ruth know that you are planning on attending and how many people would be joining you.
In honor of Joe's memory, the family kindly asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Home of the Innocents.
