Passed away May 31st, 2025 at the age of 91. He is predeceased by his son Michael; parents Nicholas & Ida; brothers Steve (Colette) & Nick (Barbara); and sister Jean (Angelo) LaMartina. Survived by his wife of 70 years, the love of his life Kathleen; sons Scott (Nancy) & Terry (Debra); daughter-in-law Dalys Zappia; grandchildren Nicole, Joseph (Diana), Mark (Lauren), Robert (Laura), Lauren (Ryan) Adkins, Devon (Pierre) Scarpulla-Serrão, Dominique (Christian Cupello), & Marcus; 7 great-grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.
Joe was the former owner of Pierrepont Visual Graphics, Inc and is an Army veteran. Joe was born and raised in Buffalo, NY but made Rochester his home where he worked and raised his family. Joe was an avid Buffalo Bills, Sabres, Rochester Amerks and NY Yankees fan. A dedicated grandfather who enjoyed being a fan of everything they did in life. A three sport athlete in high school, Joe went on to play semi-pro baseball (drafted by the Cincinnati Reds).
The family would like to thank the facilities at Episcopal Senior Life Communities and Brentland Woods for their dedication and loving care of Joe.
Services were held privately for the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the “Crohn's & Colitis Foundation”.
