Joshua D. Dewald

Age 27 of Pittsburgh, passed away suddenly on Friday, March 14, 2025. Beloved son of Celeste (Hoebler) Dewald and the late David C. Dewald III; loving brother of Jesse Dewald; cherished nephew of Phillip (Beverly) Hoebler, Christine (Jeff) Novak, the late Linda (Rich) Plazinski, Lisa (Tom) Galehan, Carol Jacob, the late Sally (Loren) Siegel, the late Nancy Dilling, Peggy (Jim) Dewald-Link, the late Cynthia Dewald, and Mary Beth Kovic. He was also survived by many loving cousins. Josh graduated in 2016 from Brashear High School. He continued his education at the University of Pittsburgh where he earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. A member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), he was employed with Westinghouse. As an avid gamer, he made many great friendships and formed bonds that will not be forgotten. Josh will be remembered for his kindness, determination, hard work ethic, and most of all his profound love and dedication to his family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all.
