He was born October 26, 1982, in Wheeling, WV, son of the late Howard Miller, Jr. and Karen Elizabeth Dupke Miller.
He was a Sanitation Operator for the City of Wheeling and a member of the Salvation Army. Josh started as a Junior Firefighter with the Mozart Volunteer Fire Department and worked his way up to Fire Chief where he served for 5 years.
You could always rely on him whenever anything was needed. He had a heart of gold and was always helping others. He loved to throw darts and was on many teams out of The Windmill. He loved his family & friends.
He is survived by his sister, Jennifer (Edgar) Miller; two brothers, Howard Miller, III, Jason Miller; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins including Dan (Candi) Millhouse, Michael Millhouse; best friend, Robyn McLaughlin; and stepmom, Helen Miller.
Friends will be received on Friday, December 27, 2024 from 4-7 PM & Saturday, December 28, 2024 from 10 AM until the time of service at 12 PM at Kepner Funeral Homes, 900 National Road, Wheeling, WV (304-232-2732) with Lieutenant John Lawrence officiating.
Following the service a reception will be held at the Mozart Volunteer Fire Department, 25 S. Frazier Ave, Wheeling, WV 26003.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Mozart Volunteer Fire Department at the address above.
