Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Dewey Childs, who passed away December 31, 2000 ( They were married September 15, 1947), she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Judy Chapman, and her sister, Mary Lou Marks. Joyce is survived by her son-in-law: Rick Chapman, Grandson: Randall and Crystal Chapman and two great-grandchildren: Caitlyn and Calvin Chapman.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, January 9, 2023, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with burial to follow, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour before services, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The American Cancer Society.
