Joyce B. Shaffer May 8th, 1950 – January 2nd, 2025 Age 74.
Joyce passed away peacefully and entered eternal heaven on Thursday, January 2nd, 2025. Devoted mother of son Anthony Paulis (48). Dearest Grandmother / Nonna to her Grandson Giuliano Garcia - Paulis (13). Joyce was the fourth born of five children from Joseph Hoefler and Dorothy ( Lambie) Hoefler. Beloved sister to Mary Konicke, Kathy Peters, Christine
Sprague and Joseph Hoefler. Further survived by friends, cousins, aunts, any other relatives and colleagues. Beloved owner to dachshund Snickers ( patriarch of our dog family ). Joyce was born in Milwaukee and raised in Greenfield, WI and graduated from Greenfield High School in 1968. After graduating, her passion for being around people truly showed. She was also an entrepreneur and owned hair salons, including having her cosmetology license and managers license. Joyce enjoyed cosmetology, being the life of the party, which she was, and Music and just having a good time and always being positive.
Joyce embraced an incredible work ethic and was truly compassionate and wonderful to others. Joyce made an amazing impact on her friends and family with his sense of humor and her profound strength she exhibited the past several years battling a variety of health issues.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Meyer's Restaurant, 4260 S 76th Street, Greenfield, Wisconsin, 53220 on Saturday May 10th from 12:00 PM until 4:00 PM. If more details please contact Anthony Paulis In lieu of flowers, any donation would be appreciated. Please contact her son Anthony Paulis for more details for options if you choose to go that route.
