In Loving Memory of Juan Antonio MongeOctober 19, 1959 – November 4, 2025

A proud veteran, Juan answered his nation’s call when he was drafted into military service in 1979, eventually serving with the National Guard beginning in 1981. His commitment to public service continued as he transitioned into law enforcement, serving proudly with the Policía de Hacienda in 1985 and later with the Policía Nacional, where his career spanned until 1994. Juan’s dedication during these years showcased not only his resolve but also a profound sense of duty to protect and serve his community.
Those who knew Juan would describe him as a man of firm principles. While he could often be serious and strict, at heart he was a playful soul. His laughter was infectious—a sound that could light up any room and spark joy in the hearts of those who heard it. Even amid life’s many responsibilities, he had a remarkable ability to remind his loved ones to take a moment to appreciate the simple pleasures that life has to offer.
Juan leaves behind his beloved wife, Consuelo Monge, and their three cherished children: Damaris Raquel Monge, Sarai Monge, and Juan Monge. Each of them carries a part of his legacy and the countless lessons he imparted through love, discipline, and laughter.
