Judith Peralta Haduca passed peacefully at Dominican Hospital on June 20, 2025, at the age of 78 following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on December 18, 1946, in Santa Lucia, Ilocos Sur, Philippines to Pablo A. Haduca & Maria Guadalupe de Peralta. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Raymundo Haduca of Japan & Danilo Haduca of Marina, CA; and niece Oddy Leah Haduca of the Philippines.

She received her Bachelor's in Elementary Education from the University of Pamantasang Centro Escolar in Manila, Philippines. However, life set her on another path where she found success and often reminisced fondly of her time at working in a travel agency where she guided and assisted many Filipinos to venture to the United States to chase the American dream. Soon after the dream willed her, and Judith journeyed to the United States in the 1970s. She initially started her journey in Hawaii but eventually settled in Watsonville, CA to join her mother and siblings. She was a loving auntie, sister/ manang, and friend to many.

She spent nearly 30 years working at Dominican Hospital, serving as the highest seniority staff in the housekeeping department before retiring in 2014. She had also worked at Dominican Oaks where she loved to care for and provide stellar service to her residents.

Judith was widely known for her amazing cooking skills. She loved to share her meals with others and made sure that you never went hungry. In her retirement, she enjoyed playing bingo with her friends, watching & listening to novelas/teleserye's and her skills for gardening were unmatched.

Judith is survived by her siblings; Lydia (Dominador) Acosta of Castroville, Perlita (Nestor) Banez of Los Banos, Chito Haduca of Watsonville, Marjorie (Homer) Moreno of San Leandro, Arthur (Maria) Haduca of Salinas; sister in-law Anita Haduca of Marina, sister in-law Nida Haduca of Manila, Philippines; 18 nieces & nephews, and many great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.

Visitation will be held at Mehl's Colonial Chapel on Thursday, June 26th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady Help of Christians Church on Friday, June 27th at 1:00 p.m. with burial to follow at Pajaro Valley Memorial Park. The family thanks Mehl's Colonial Chapel for handling Judith's wishes.
