Judith Maupin Obituary
She was born on June 27, 1949 in Lafayette to the late Chester and Verna (Williams) Maupin. Judy graduated from Jefferson High School in 1967.
Her prior marriage was to Michael L. Fogleman and he preceded her in death on March 13, 2020.
Judy ran her own daycare and also worked as a caregiver.
She loved animals, politics, and advocating for the less fortunate. Judy enjoyed cooking, crafting, and was an avid gardener who was gifted with a green thumb. She enjoyed raising and releasing Monarch butterflies each year. Her family was the most important thing to her and that is what she wanted out of life.
Surviving are her children, Trisha Fogleman, Shawna Fogleman McCully, Michael Thomas Fogleman, Matthew Fogleman, and Shanessa Fogleman, all of Lafayette; her sisters, Luana Hanson of Lafayette and Linda Ludwig of Chappaqua, NY; her grandchildren, Lexxis Roberts, Alisha Mullins, and Alistair McCully; and her great grandson, Camden Cranfill.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Ron Maupin.
Private Services will be held.
Memorial donations may be made to Almost Home Humane Society in loving memory of Judith.
