Judy M. Hobson

HOBSON, Judy – of Flushing, formerly of Montrose, age 79, died peacefully on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at her residence surrounded by the love of her family. Honoring her wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no service at this time.
Judy was born May 10, 1946, in Flint, to the late Roy and Mildred (Revard) Vorachek. On May 22, 1965, she married her beloved husband and best friend, Ron Hobson, and together they shared 60 years of marriage. Judy was a wonderful wife and stay-at-home mother for much of her life. She enjoyed watching the hummingbirds, collecting antiques and glassware, and she especially liked watching NASCAR and keeping up with the Detroit Redwings and Detroit Tigers. Nothing, however, rivaled the love she had for her family. Judy's family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to Heartland Hospice for their professionalism, care, and compassion during her final days.
Judy is forever loved and remembered by: Husband, Ron Hobson; Children: Dan (Holly) Hobson and Shannon (Hank) Bolanowski; Grandsons: Grey Hobson, Sawyer (Kathy) Hobson, and Drew Hobson; Great Granddaughters: Oakley and Paisley Hobson; Many beloved brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, extended family, and wonderful friends. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Mildred.
