It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of June Johnson, who peacefully left this world on February 3, 2025, at Stafford Regional Hospital at the age of 83. She was born on July 28, 1941, in Pennsylvania, and spent her final years in Stafford County, Virginia, where she was known for her kindness, compassion, and dedication to her family and community. June was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gary Johnson Senior, and their children, Gary E. Johnson Junior and Marlene Smith. She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Johnson of Stafford County, Virginia, and daughter, Shelly Hancock of Spotsylvania, Virginia. She will also be dearly missed by her grandchildren: Robbie, Abel, Adrian, Ava, Aiden, Alana, Brigette, Brittany, Charlene, Richard and Jeffrey Junior, as well as a host of great-grandchildren who brought her immeasurable joy. A devoted homemaker and substitute teacher, June touched many lives with her gentle spirit and willingness to help others.
