June F. (Williams) Kellough, 79, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at the Hamilton Pointe Nursing and Rehab.
June was born on June 19, 1945 in Evansville to the late Raymond Robert and Lillie Edith Williams. She was a 1963 graduate of the old Central High School in downtown Evansville. She worked as a certified nursing assistant for many years at Braun's Nursing Home, as well as many other nursing homes in the Evansville area. She enjoyed game nights with her friends and family and loved binging on old television shows, bible study and listening to Christian music.
Surviving June is her daughter, Kristi Renee Gross and her husband David of Poseyville, Indiana; grandchildren, Brian (Emily) Kempf of Evansville, Justin Gross of Mt. Vernon, Caden Gross of Mt. Vernon and Casey Gross of Evansville and great grandchildren, Audrey and Corbyn Gross.
In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by a sister, Jeraldine Williams and two brothers, James Harold Williams and John Wayne Williams.
Private funeral services and sharing of memories will be held at Pierre Funeral Home with entombment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the nursing staff at The Village at Hamilton Pointe, Deaconess Hospice and June's former caregiver and special friend, Steve Fischer for the excellent care they provided to her.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
