June T. Lucca, 75, of Huntley, Illinois passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025.
She was born on August 7, 1949 in Elmhurst, Illinois to Lloyd and Theresa (Doyle) Larson. She married Michael A. Lucca on November 23, 1973 in Melrose Park.
June worked as an accountant for International Harvesting until her retirement. She and Michael moved to Huntley from Schaumburg in 1986 and would remain there until her passing. They were parishioners of St Mary Catholic Church in Huntley.
June was multi-talented, and had a wide array of interests. She especially enjoyed sewing (everything from clothing to upholstery), woodworking, and spending time in nature. She was an avid reader and a gifted baker. She was a true go-getter with an indomitable spirit. Above all else, she loved spending time with her friends and family.
In addition to her husband, Michael, June is survived by her children, Christine (Erich) Pawelko, Brian (Melissa) Lucca, and Kevin (Margaret) Lucca; a brother, Dan (Marlene) Larson; five grandchildren, and one grandchild on the way.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20, 2025 from 4 pm to 7 pm, with a prayer service at 6:30 pm. Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Huntley at 10 am. Graveside services will be held privately.
