On January 6, 2024, Justin suffered five epileptic seizures that ultimately took his life on January 7, 2024. He was born November 17, 1990 in Ogden, Utah. He was living in Roy at the time of his passing.
He had two beautiful daughters, Karizma Patience and Jewel’iahna Grace with their loving mother.
Justin enjoyed fishing, camping, riding his bike, and spending time with family and friends.
He was working with the family HVAC company CFM Heating and Air at the time of his death. He also loved the time he spent with his Rebeccas and Odd Fellow Organization.
Justin is survived by his daughters, his parents, Nicole Black and Steven “Greg” (Suzanne) Madsen, his brothers, Ryan (Joanie) Anderson, Trevor (Rebecca) Anderson, Skylar Anderson, Dylan Madesen and Garrik (Shani) Smith; sisters, Paige (Auston) Krogh, Tiffany (Brian) Lockwood, Lacee (Alan) Embleton, and Samantha Madsen; Grandma Garber, Grandma Kathy, Grandpa Steve (Sherrie) Madsen; Grandpa Terry (Nancy), Grandpa Sheldon (Janine), and Grandma Scruffy; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Amber; Grandpa Mel, Chad, Grandma Sherry, Nanny; and other grandparents. Thank you, friends, Chad, Glen, Tyler, Heather, and Shyeanne.
The family would like to thank everyone at McKay Dee Hospital that helped Justin, as well as everyone that stayed at the hospital with our family in this time of need.

A memorial service for Justin will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Saturday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd. The family would like to invite everyone to the church afterwards for dinner location to be announced.
