Kade Martin Obituary

Visit the Myers Mortuary & Cremation Services - Ogden website to view the full obituary.
Kadé Don Martin born on October 6, 1988, peacefully passed away on November 12, 2025 into heaven and reunited with his best friend and hero Don and other amazing loved ones. On his final day he was surrounded by those that loved him in a room overflowing with family and friends who loved him so deeply.. He fought a rare stage four, small cell lung cancer like a true peaceful warrior the past few months and now is free from pain and at peace. Words cannot contain the depth of what Kadé has done for countless people in his life and the love and brotherhood we have for him.

Raised in Pleasant View, Utah, Kade was a beloved son, brother, cousin, uncle, best friend and most importantly father to his 3 boys. Kade devoted his life to serving others in their times of greatest need as a firefighter with the Salt Lake City Fire Department. "Heroes are ordinary people who make themselves extraordinary," remarked an author, and Kade embodied this sentiment in every aspect of his life.

To say he's been our best friend just doesn't quite touch it. He was there for so many of us through some of the darkest periods of our lives where we couldn't see through the darkness but he had the light. He is a person who lifts others and gives without expecting reciprocation. He is a Silly Goose on the loose and will hit you with every dad joke he knows. He brings enthusiasm, humor, and "positron" energy to everyone around him. We are so beyond words proud of this man and will miss the countless inside jokes, talking in accents, ripping shirts with holes in them, our positive compliment competitions, and our long talks about life. He is an award winning father to his three boys Jax, Taj, and Dash and loving partner to his sweetheart Amy. Rest easy brother. Your story will forever continue to be written in our lives.

Some of Kade's favorite Ted Lasso Quotes:

"Be curious, not judgmental"

"I think things come into our lives to help us get from one place to a better one."

"Courage isn't just running into the fire. Sometimes it's about letting yourself feel things."

Kade is Survived by: ( Parents ) Trudi White, Michael & Brenda Martin, ( Siblings ) Bradon & Kristin Martin, Shane Martin, Dustin & Maria Martin, Myrika & Jakes Hawes, Chantil & Sese Ianu, ( Partner ) Amy Evans, (Other ) nieces, nephews, and so many numerous best friends who were also his Brothers & Sisters. You all know who you are.

Kade's life will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at the Davis Conference Center, 1651 N. 700 W. Layton, Utah, at 11:00 am. Before the celebration, there will be a time for friends to meet with the family from 9:30-10:30 am at the same venue.

Following the celebration of life the Interment service will be held at the Ben Lomond Cemetery located 526 E 2850 N, North Ogden, UT 84414

Kade's life, though cut short, was indeed profound in its depth, its courage, and its love.
