I got chance to spend time with her before she died she was still full of happiness and had a good head on her shoulders I am glad to say she never lost her mind and knew who she was and loved her family no matter what I knew she was stressed about some things towards the end of her life I could tell because she did not wipe down the whole kitchen counter so I did it a few times for her she worked in the yard like she was 21 the day before her death and whenever I worked in the yard with her it was hard to keep up with her lol I told her to go to Dr because she seem stressed because of to many things going on at one time she would not listen to me with a smile on her face and whenever I need some place to go she never told me no I just had to go by there rules be home by dark or be locked out lol she loved everyone in her family even the few she didn't talk to because they was lieing or she didn't need to believe them ..but towards the end she was happier than she been in years she told me one day how she and where wanted to die and she pretty much got her wish when I was a teen I asked her to stop the music at your funeral to let me know she was still there . crazy thing is the music stoped at her funeral and I was happy to know she made it to the other side.lol but she was never that sick and a strong minded woman we were all in shock that she just did not wake up that terrible morning Rest in piece ya B.B

I worked with Karen at Coliseum Medical Center for many years. We ate lunch together every day. She liked to eat early, and so did I. I worked along side her, and saw her care for her patients with compassion and excellent nursing skills. Rest easy now, Karen! Thanks for our memories! Mary Robbins, RN
