Karen Hubbard, 65 of Mount Vernon, passed away on May 26, 2025 at OSU East in Columbus, OH. She was born on January 25, 1960 to Rupert and Joan (O'Dell) Frye in Mount Vernon, OH.
Karen worked 31 years and retired from the Mount Vernon Developmental Center in 2008. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, playing cards, making silk flower arrangements, artwork and spending time with her granddaughter and her family.
Karen is survived by her children Kevin Creech of Mount Vernon, OH and Kacy (Matthew) Hubbard of Mount Vernon, OH; a granddaughter Madison; step grandchildren Alicia and Calvin; a sister Joy (Larry) Wohlheter of Cambridge, OH; many nieces, nephews and extended family members. She will be greatly missed.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents, siblings Jim Frye, Bob Frye and Sue Spurling.
In keeping with Karen's wishes there will be no services at this time.
