Karen Molly Lamb

Karen Grulkowski Lamb passed away peacefully on November 6th, 2025, at the age of 58 in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Born in Lynwood, California, she lived a life of warmth, resilience, compassion, and radiance. Karen was a devoted wife to Hank Lamb, loving mother to Travis Lamb, Mikayla Lamb, Madison Lamb, and to her fur babies Zoey Lyn, Loofie, Bella, and Chance. A loving daughter to Audrey Grulkowski and Norbert Grulkowski. She was also a cherished sister to Jeffrey Grulkowski, Jimmy Grulkowski, and Sharon Mercier.

Karen guided her family with heart and strength. She was competent, generous, and humorous. She leaves an indelible mark on the lives of her family and all who knew her. Karen was dedicated not only to her family but to her work as well. She worked many years as a store manager serving her community.

Karen found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She was an avid reader who enjoyed being spirited away through all the adventures in her books. Karen had a sense of adventure evident since before she could walk. She was the first person in the car, ready to explore new things. She was a generous host who loved to entertain family, friends, and even strangers, bringing people together to celebrate.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her kindness, laughter, and unwavering love.
