They moved back to Wisconsin in 1996 to take over the bar for a couple of years. Karen then spent many years working at Hudson Sharp and the City of Kewaunee.
Karen enjoyed being up north at their cabin in Crivitz, taking rides on the pontoon boat and making memories with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Pat; daughters, Stephanie (Marty) LaTour and Patricia (Trey) Knoll; grandchildren, Landon and Karson LaTour; brother-in-law Don Muchowski; sister-in-law, Julie Reyes; and many other loving family members.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Carol (Skaleski) Van Goethem; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Albert and Ione (Worachek) Muchowski; and brother-in-law, Mike Muchowski.
