Karla Jean Eickhoff-Lee, 69, daughter of the late Karl and Dorothy (Mixdorf) Eickhoff, was born November 26, 1955, in Waterloo, Iowa, and passed from this life on August 11, 2025, at her home in Mountain Grove, Missouri.
Karla was raised in Mountain Grove. She married Marvin Hildebrandt on December 10, 1977. Together, they had three children. Marvin and Karla ran a dairy and grain farm in Fredericksburg and Sumner, Iowa. In the later years of her life, Karla returned to Mountain Grove, Missouri, and later married Russell Lee.
Karla loved spending time with her family and her animals. Karla loved making chocolate chip cookies with her children, nieces, and nephews. She enjoyed reading and academics. She was a loving wife, daughter, and sister.
Karla was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Eickhoff, on October 6, 2017, and her father, Karl Eickhoff, on July 18, 2004.
She is survived by her husband, Russell Lee; her children, Michelle Hildebrandt of Sumner, Iowa, Renee (Hildebrandt) Strief, of Eldridge, Iowa, and Christopher Hildebrandt of Sumner, Iowa; her grandchildren, Saphira Hildebrandt, Ella Strief, and Brandt Strief; her first husband, Marvin Hildebrandt; her five sisters, Mica Brooke, of Ava, Missouri, Laura (David) Carmody, of West Union, Iowa, Lisa (Drace) Feston, of Mountain Grove, Missouri, Gina Eickhoff, of Mountain Grove, Missouri, and Yvonne (Terry) Rogers, of Mountain Grove, Missouri; many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends who will greatly miss her.
