Mary Ann Eickhoff, 92, of Evansville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Deaconess Hospital Midtown Campus. Mary Ann was born on October 13, 1932, in Evansville to the late John Reese and Marjorie (Taylor) Widick. She worked in the Pigeon Township Assessor's Office for over 20 years prior to retiring. Mary Ann was an active member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and, along with her husband Charles, was inducted into the Brute` Society of the Diocese of Evansville for her service to the church in 2012. She was a 1950 graduate of Memorial High School. She had served as the president of the St. Boniface PTO and the St. Ann Altar Society and was a member of the Knights of St. John Auxiliary 309 for over 60 years. Surviving Mary Ann are her daughter and son-in-law, Annie and Alan Groves; son and daughter-in-law, Charles Keith and Anita Eickhoff; grandchildren, Heather Eickhoff, Beth (Margaret) Giesel and Matthew (Lindsy) Eickhoff, and great grandchildren, Ashleigh and Nate Dearing, Abri, Blake and Mason Eickhoff. In addition to her parents, Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Charles Eickhoff in 2015 and by a sister, Nancy Bayer. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Rev. Christopher Droste officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 until 5:00 PM on Monday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street and from 10:30 AM until service time on Tuesday at St. Boniface Catholic Church, 418 N. Wabash Ave. Mary Ann's family would like to extend a special thank you to her nieces, Laura Reddington, Lisa Fleming and Donna Jourdan for all of their kind and compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Boniface Catholic Church, at the parish office, 1600 Glendale Ave, Evansville, IN 47712.
