Kathleen Woods Obituary
Kathleen Marie Woods, affectionately known as Kathy, passed away on October 26, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on July 10, 1949, in New Albany, Indiana, Kathy lived a life rich in love.
Kathy was attended St. Michael Catholic Church, where her faith was an integral part of her life. She cherished the beauty of nature and found solace in exploring the outdoors. Kathy also enjoyed traveling with her husband and spending time with her family and friends. She took great pride in maintaining a clean and tidy home and was a magnificent cook.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Joseph Woods; her son, Eric Schindler; step-children, Theresa Melchiorre and Tommy Woods; her brother, Jessie Jenkins Jr.; as well as her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie Jenkins Sr. and Ora Stultz Jenkins, and her brother, William Jenkins.
