Kathy Bousman

Muncie - Kathleen (Kathy) Ogle Bousman passed on July 4th at IU University Hospital, Indianapolis, Indiana after an extended illness.
Kathy entered this world on November 7th, 1950 in Muncie, Indiana and grew up on the Ogle dairy farm in Henry County where she developed a lifelong love of animals, and contributed much to the success of that operation. After graduating from Blue River Valley High School in 1969 she obtained a Dental Assistants Degree from Indiana Business College, and made many friends throughout Muncie and the surrounding communities through her family and work with Maplewood Animal Hospital, Ross Corner Stores, Lo Bills, and Marsh.
Kathy is survived by her spouse Richard Bousman; sons Ben (Katherine) and Matt; grandchildren Khloe, Wyatt, Izzy, Evie, and Emmie; siblings Jim (Julie) Ogle, Chris Ogle Erotas, Randy (Angie) Ogle, Terri (Curt) Reynolds and ten nieces and nephews. Kathy was predeceased by parents Leland and Virginia Johnson Ogle, sister Cheryl Ogle, and grandparents Ora and Flora Ogle and Verlin and Dorothy Johnson.
Kathy will forever be remembered for her joyful infectious laughter and sweet spirit. Though quiet in many settings, her will was strong and once she made up her mind, she stuck to it. If you wanted to debate Kathy, you were going to lose and she was a friend to all, except any team playing the Celtics. She will be greatly missed for her dear presence and guiding hands of her family. One of Kathy's favorite places was the Ogle farm creek with its gentle rippling movements of time, good memories and peace.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 11, 2024 in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant.
