Keith Moore Obituary
MOORE, Keith Eugene - Age 86, of Flushing, passed away Saturday, October 11, 2025. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, October 16, 2025 at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 6380 Beecher Road, Flint. Pastor Jeffrey Schmidt officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be held at the church Thursday from 1:00 PM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to Emanuel Lutheran Church, 6380 Beecher Road, Flint, MI 48532.
Keith was born August 21, 1939 in Edmore, the son of Albert Edward and Eloise Marie (Shaw) Moore. He was a 1957 graduate of Remus High School; and he received a Bachelor's Degree from Albion College; and a Masters Degree from Central Michigan University. He married Joanna Joyce Wilmurth September 1, 1962 in Centerline. He had resided in Flushing for the past 8 years coming from Land O Lakes, FL and East Jordan. Keith retired from Hillman Community School as the Superintendent. He was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in Flint Township. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, reading and spending time with his family.
Surviving are: his wife of 63 years, Joanna; children, Diana (Jim) Johnson of West Branch, Kendra (Jeff Blythe) Myrick of Atlanta, GA, and Mark (Cassandra) Moore of Flushing; grandchildren, Kaleb, Aaliyah, Grace, Benjamin, Logan, Reagan and Brenna; great grandchildren, K.J., Korbyn, Kayson, Hendryx and Colton; brother, Stephen (Karen) Moore of Remus; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Eloise Moore; brother, Gary Moore. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
