Keith D. Witmer, 69, of Watsontown, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, August 18, 2025 at his home.

Born November 14, 1955 in Williamsport, he was the son of the late Dick A. and Helga "Candy" (Weisheit) Witmer. On June 24, 1989, he married the former Patti S. Criswell, and together they celebrated 36 years of marriage.

Keith was a 1973 graduate of Warrior Run High School, and a 1977 graduate of Bloomsburg University majoring in accounting. He was a co-owner of B&W Disposal and Dewart Livestock. Also, he served as the Delaware Township Supervisor for many years.

He was a member of the Watsontown American Legion Post 323, Blue Run Farm Cabin in Tioga Co., Hemlock Hollow Hunting Club in Allenwood, and St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Watsontown. Keith enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing, and going to casinos.

In addition to his wife, Patti, he is survived by his two sons: Chet Witmer, and Kyle Witmer and his fiancée Chelsea, all of Watsontown; one daughter: Gina Fraley and her husband Adam, of Muncy; two grandchildren: Dakota and Landree Fraley; and one brother: Kevin Witmer and his wife Julie, of Watsontown.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 10 AM to 12 PM on Saturday, August 23rd, at St. John's Lutheran Church, 6590 Musser Lane, Watsontown, with a funeral service to follow at 12 (Noon) with Crystal Gutshall, officiating. Burial will follow in Delaware Run Cemetery, right behind the church.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations in Keith's memory be made to his church, or to the American Cancer Society, https://www.cancer.org.
