Kelly Jacobs

Kelly Jo Jacobs, aged 55, of Reese, Michigan, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, October 28, 2025. Born on December 12, 1969, in Bay City, Michigan, she was one of the cherished daughters of Emil "Joe" and Susan (Strope) Jacobs. Kelly's childhood was spent in the close-knit community of Munger. She was a proud graduate of Bay City Central High School, where she formed lasting friendships.
Kelly's heart was always with her family, and she poured her love and energy into raising her three wonderful children. Professionally, Kelly was known for her culinary skills, delighting patrons for many years as a cook at the Toolshed Bar in Munger and later at Trackside in Reese. She was also always willing to help out at the potato farms in Munger, where she contributed with the same passion and commitment she brought to every aspect of her life.
Kelly's zest for life extended beyond her work and family. She was an avid camper, with many cherished memories made at Vanderbilt Park, where she enjoyed the simple pleasures of nature, a good bonfire, and the occasional beer with friends and family. Her love for card games, particularly poker and euchre, provided countless hours of joy and competition.
Family was the cornerstone of Kelly's world. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her children, Courtney (Tim "Schmoo") Beyer, Cory (Courtney) Pioszak, and Thad (Casandra) Pioszak. Her legacy continues through her beloved grandchildren, Lilly Anna Beyer, Brodi Pioszak, Koltyn Pioszak, and Emma Rae Beyer. Kelly also leaves behind her sisters, Tammy Jacobs, Stacy (Jason) Pietryga, and Christine Jacobs; her special friend, Dennis Palmreuter; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss her deeply. Kelly's life was preceded in death by her grandson Liam Pioszak.
Cremation has taken place, and a service to celebrate Kelly's life will be planned at a later date. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider American Cancer Society.
