Kelly Ross McGimsey

On Monday, November 14, 2022, Kelly Ross McGimsey, a loving husband, a devoted father, a loyal son and brother, passed away suddenly at the age of 36. Kelly was born on October 16, 1986, in Shreveport, LA. He attended Loyola College Prep high school where he excelled as a baseball athlete. Kelly attended Louisiana Tech University where he had a love for tailgating at football games with his trailer at his favorite spot.
Kelly is to be remembered for his passion for golf, football, skiing, and his dedication to his wife, children, and his family. You could feel Kelly's love, warmth, and happiness through his infectious smile. It was truly one of a kind. He was always ready to engage in a good conversation. Kelly never met a stranger. He was an outstanding co-worker and friend to his Allegiance Health Management family.
Kelly is survived by his loving wife Jennifer Ann Cameron McGimsey and two beautiful and energetic daughters Mary Cameron (4) and Millicent Taylor (1) of Shreveport; father, Randall Brian McGimsey, Sr. (Judith), brothers Randall Brian McGimsey, Jr. (Jennifer), Taylor Brooks McGimsey, Jennifer's parents (Toni and Don Cameron), brother and sister-in-law Anthony Cameron (Lisa) and Donna Gracey (Rob), nieces and nephew Jordan and Julie McGimsey, and Julie, Anthony Jr., and Caroline Cameron of Shreveport. He is also survived by Trey Turner, stepfather and a multitude of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his mother Julia Elizabeth Taylor McGimsey Turner and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
A visitation will be held Thursday, November 17, 2022, from 4:00-7:00 pm at Osborn Funeral Home (Shreveport). A funeral mass will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022, at 10:30 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church (Shreveport) where Kelly attended school and worshiped. It will be followed by a graveside service at Forest Park East(Shreveport). In lieu of flowers, please honor Kelly with a donation to Loyola College Prep High School. Serving Kelly as pallbearers will be Bailey Griffith, Parker Maxwell, Slade Walker, Luc Zeller, Colby Lorant, Ross Tuminello, and Jason Pou.
