Kelly Carrigan Runyon

Kelly Carrigan Runyon, 65, of Edenville, Michigan, passed away at home on September 4, 2024. Born on July 11, 1959, in Midland, Michigan, Kelly was known for her soft-spoken nature, thoughtfulness, and selfless spirit. She had a deep love for her family, and she was incredibly proud of her two daughters, Tracy and Erin, who meant the world to her.
Kelly had a remarkable ability to make others feel remembered and appreciated. Whether it was sending a birthday text or reaching out with a thoughtful note about something she knew you liked, it was her quiet, consistent gestures that showed how much she cared, and left a lasting impression on everyone who was lucky enough to know her.
Kelly was an avid reader who found great joy in books. Her love for reading was a constant source of comfort, which she passed on to her daughters from an early age. Kelly also had a love for sports that was sparked by her father, Flip, and she found joy in watching games throughout her life. Some of her most treasured memories were summers spent at her sister Kathleen's beach house, creating lifelong memories surrounded by family.
She is survived by her husband, Mark Runyon; her daughters, Tracy Runyon and Erin Runyon, as well as her three sisters, Shannon Vasicek, Kathleen Abbey, and Colleen Biggs, and brother, Kevin Carrigan. Kelly was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Flip and Millie Carrigan.
Kelly's warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her thoughtful gestures and quiet strength touched the hearts of her family and friends in countless ways. Though she is no longer with us, Kelly's love and memory will remain forever in our hearts.
Memorial arrangements will take place at Oak Hill Baptist Church located at 6907 Convict Hill Rd. Austin, Texas 78749 on October 3, 2024 at 1:00 PM.
