Kenneth W. McVey, known affectionately to friends and family as Ken, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2025, at the age of 86, in Middletown, NY. Born on May 14, 1939, in Brooklyn, NY, to the late William and Catherine McVey. He was also predeceased by his wife Eileen McVey. Ken grew up to be a man of great integrity and kindness, whose warmth radiated to all who knew him. Ken's life was one of devotion and service, both to his family and to his work. As the loving father of Timothy and his wife Tiffany, Christopher and his wife Pru, and Kimberly and her husband William, Ken instilled in his children the values of hard work, compassion, and generosity that he himself embodied. He was an adored grandfather to Zachary, Kenneth, Thomas, Shea, Bill, Lily, Avery, and Landon, each of whom brought him immeasurable joy. Ken's love for his grandchildren knew no bounds, and he was their most enthusiastic supporter, never missing a chance to cheer them on at their soccer games.Survived by his sister Elaine, brother Bill, and several nieces and nephews, Ken's legacy of love and kindness will continue to live on through the lives of those he touched. His loss is deeply felt by his extended family and a wide circle of friends. Especially the dedicated TKC employees who meant so much to him and his bonus daughter Elaine. They will remember him for his unwavering support and heartfelt advice.Ken's professional life was marked by the same dedication he showed in his personal affairs. As the proprietor of TKC, he poured his heart and soul into the company, building it with a strong foundation of trust and mutual respect. His colleagues and clients revered him as the hardest working man they ever knew, and his commitment to his work was evident in the lasting relationships he forged throughout his career.Ken's faith was a guiding light in his life, providing him comfort and purpose. He lived his beliefs through his actions, consistently reaching out to help those in need and spreading kindness wherever he went.Ken's generosity extended beyond his immediate circle; he cared deeply for all people and found happiness in making a positive impact on the lives of others. His spirit of giving was most apparent in his role as a grandfather. He treasured this role above all others, taking immense pride in his grandchildren's achievements and milestones. His life was a testament to hard work, and faith. His memory will continue to inspire and guide us. As we bid farewell to a truly remarkable man, we take comfort in the knowledge that his legacy will endure through the countless lives he touched with his extraordinary spirit. Ken will be remembered for his boundless energy, his unwavering moral compass, and his profound ability to connect with others. His was a life well-lived, full of purpose and love.
