Kenneth Franklin Spivey, 87, of Bramwell, WV, passed, Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at Princeton Healthcare Center in Princeton, WV. 

Born January 18, 1938, in Coopers, WV, he was a son of the late John Wesley and Ida Jane Pauley Spivey. Kenneth was a lifelong resident of Mercer County and was a retired coal miner. 

In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his brothers, Woodrow and William Spivey, and wife, Shirley Spivey.

Those left to cherish Kenneth's memory are his companion, Carol Knuckles, of the home; and daughters, Karen Wishnevsky, of Bassett, VA, and Sandy Hare, of Narrows, VA. 

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA. A visitation will be held from 1:00-1:30 PM at The Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell, WV. 

Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving the Spivey family.
