Kenneth E. "Ken" Stuter

Kenneth E. "Ken" Stuter, age 82, of Orrville, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Aultman Hospital in Canton, following a brief illness.
Ken was born on May 15, 1943, in Massillon, to the late C.E. "Gene" and Martha (Beechy) Stuter. He graduated from Orrville High School in 1961 and went on to attend Huntington University in Indiana. Ken served his country for three years in the United States Army, where he was stationed in Germany. On June 22, 1968, he married the love of his life, Carol Ann Zuercher, in Wooster, and she remains to cherish his memory.
Ken dedicated 42 years to Smith Dairy in Orrville, where he served in numerous roles before retiring as Purchasing Manager in 2005.
He was a longtime member of Orrville Christian Church and faithfully attended the Growing Christians Sunday School Class. Ken also gave generously of his time to his community, serving on Orrville City Council, the Orrville Utility Board, and as a Past President of the Orrville Lions Club.
He enjoyed boating and fishing, and for 23 years treasured weekends spent at his camper near Port Clinton on Lake Erie. Ken also loved evenings out with Carol and their friends, as well as the many memorable trips he and Carol took together over the years.
In addition to his wife, Ken is survived by three daughters, Cindy (James) Brannon of Orrville, Jennifer (David) Potts of Orrville, and Lori (Bryant) Levis of Grafton; six grandchildren, Alex Brannon, Spencer (Alyssa) Brannon, Katie Potts, Rachel Potts, Drew Levis, and Adam Levis; a great-granddaughter, Brooklynn Brannon; and two siblings, Janet Blais of Canal Winchester and Bob (Alma) Stuter of Sevierville, TN. He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Bob Blais.
Friends may call on Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., or on Friday, December 12, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., at Orrville Christian Church, 925 North Elm Street, Orrville.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 12, at Orrville Christian Church, with Pastors Tom Ledford and John Mulpas officiating. Burial of cremated remains will take place at a later date at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
