Kenneth Leslie Wilson, age 74, of Ellsworth, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly on May 29, 2025, at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN. Ken was born on January 11, 1951, in New Richmond, WI, to Burton and Ethel (Larson) Wilson. He proudly graduated with the Class of 1968 from North St. Paul High School.
Ken was a man whose warmth and generosity left a lasting impression on everyone he met. A longtime and beloved employee of the Ellsworth McDonald’s, he was more than just a familiar face—he was a friend, a helper, and a true community treasure. Ken had a natural gift for connecting with people and a heart that overflowed with kindness.
He loved the simple pleasures in life—spending quiet time in the garden, watching classic TV shows like The Andy Griffith Show, and never missing an episode of his favorite-wrestling matches. These were the things that brought him joy and comfort, and he shared that same joy freely with others.
Together with his late wife, Ken gave back to his community in countless ways—operating a food shelf and even running an ice cream truck right from their home, simply to bring smiles to others. He was known for offering rides to anyone in need, never asking for anything in return but always giving freely of his time and care. Whether through a warm smile, a listening ear, or a helpful hand, Ken made it his mission to make life a little easier for those around him.
He is lovingly survived by his devoted fiancée, Rhonda Rock; his cherished stepdaughters, Leanne Babcock and Lynette Babcock; and his loyal pup and constant companion, Little Lady. Along with his children: Ken Wilson Jr., Herbert Wilson and Jennifer Steele. Siblings: Jerry (Karen) Wilson, Kathleen Wilson, Melody (Steve), and Donna Smith. Along with numerous nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara, his parents Burton and Ethel, his brothers Burton Jr, Richard, and sister Roxanna.
