Kim was a good friend to the Alliance for Camp Health. She was always interested in working together to better serve our campers and staff. Such a joyful friend and peer. Thinking of her as we continue to move her vision forward in the camp industry.

I had the pleasure of meeting Kim through my involvement with ACA. She was a wonderful person to share stories with, and I knew her to be remarkably both skilled and passionate about youth camping. I am so sad to hear the news of her passing, and I wish peace and love to all who remember her especially to her family and closest friends.

I am so sorry to hear about Kim. All my many memories of Kim are of a fun loving cousin who loved her family so so much. Your loving memory will live on in all that knew and loved you. Sending my love and prayers to all the Brosnan's and to all who knew and loved Kim during this very difficult time.
Even though you are gone away,
Your love will always be here to stay.
You touched our hearts with so many things.
God knew you were the one to save,
He took you home to get some rest,
Even though we loved you best.
Our hearts are filled with so much pain,
God loved you more, there was no shame.
At this time we must let go.
Your memories we will keep a flow.
Rest my dear cousin with peace of mind,
Your memories will live on through.

I am so sorry for the loss of Kim. She leaves behind a huge hole at ACA in terms of her dedication and professional roles that she carried for 17 years. Kim was always there to help get things done and give things a try. She and I worked closely on the development of the professional development center when ACA decided we needed to have that focus. She and I literally were "flying the plane while still designing and building it!" We'd come up with some idea for something to try, and she'd take it, flesh it out, add her own twist, and then we'd try it! We had a few mistakes that we learned a lot from- then we'd move on with refined ideas that resulted in a lot of successes. Kim took on these projects with energy, a "can-do" attitude, and a great sense of humor. As we worked together over the years, our friendship grew to be one that I hold near and dear. We had some great talks- about our dogs, people, issues.... whatever. I will miss forever hearing Kim say "Hello Debarooni..." I could always count on Kim and her kindness and caring. She leaves a hole in my heart but so many great memories that can never be taken away. I will never forget her. Never.

Kim was so special. Before she moved back to Ohio, she was one of the people I saw in the office every day. I'll always remember how she finished every conversation by calling you friend, and finished every interaction with a high five. Sending my love to her family, friends, and everyone who loved her.

When you lose a friend and colleague wrapped up in one person, it leaves a giant hole in your heart because Kim had two places in my heart-one as a friend and one as a colleague. I have fond memories of working with Kim on the first digital iteration of the accreditation program. We scoped it out setting at a Starbucks. We traveled to Goshen, Indiana, to attend a Moodle Users Group conference so masses of camp industry leaders could eventually start taking their online training requirements. Kim had a very competitive nature, just like me. I'll never forget Kim as the Rock/Paper/Scissors champion during one of our team-building exercises. I would be remiss not to mention her faithful dog, Finn, and her love of dogs. She was a dog lover, for sure! She loved her dog, your dog, my dog, and any dog she met. She always thought about the feelings of others. Kim´s memory will live on through the impact she made on the world and each of us. Although hard, I know Kim is in a better place and no longer in pain. I´m praying for Kim´s friends and family during this difficult time. I know one guardian angel is watching over all of us. I will always hold on to her legacy of being an amazing, strong, brave, and wonderful friend.

Kim and I worked together for several years - Introducing and implementing more than one set of revised ACA accreditation standards. We laughed, we cried, we brainstormed and Kim's humor, experience, and knowledge helped us make the program stronger and better! During that first summer we worked together she also got her beloved Finn - who came to work and was a great office dog. I will always smile when I think of Kim and the stories we shared.

I am sorry for the loss of such a wonderful person and friend. Kim hired me at ACA and was my team leader for several years. We became great friends and she helped me through some tough personal and professional times with her sage advice. She also taught me to be "Switzerland" and take time to see all sides of an issue, making me more patient. I will miss her smile, laughter, toughness, and quick wit. I am sure she is entertaining the folks upstairs while wearing her special tiara! Continued prayers to her wonderful family. Thank you for sharing her with us!

I only had a few interactions with Kim at ACA but in just those short moments I could see what a wonderful person she was. My prayers are with her family and friends.

What a wonderful human being and a special person! Through her work and through her friends, Kim has touched the lives of so many people in so many positive ways. I will miss her friendship, her camp knowledge and her help in making sure all of us find the best ways to help young people grow. I hope you are at peace.
