Kimberly Lane Fahnestock, age 59 of Cottondale, Alabama, passed away on the morning of
Saturday , May 17th
. In accordance with her wishes, no funeral services will be held.
She is preceded in death by her granddaughter Nicole Rose Harrell; grandparents, John and
Estelle Melton; aunts, Jamie Williams and Judy Youngblood; Uncle, Tommy Melton; cousins,
Jeremy Youngblood, Jenny Shuttlesworth, Phillip Estes and Jeremy Estes.
She is survived by her children, Dustyn Corbell(Charity), and Erika Harrell; grandchildren Declan
Corbell, Mackenzi Harrell, and Jacob Corbell; honorary father, Jim Gilliland(Bessie); aunts, Mary
Cooley(Jimmy), Linda Cook(Hobo), Juanita Lambert, Cindy Davis(Eddie); Uncles, Peewee
Melton(Marie) and Roy Melton; Honorary sisters, Kriston Turner(Alphonso) and Mysti Gilliland;
honorary nieces and nephews, Carson Grass, Destyni Grass, Titus Turner, Justus Turner,
Princeton Johnson; cousins, Larry Morris, Jodi Ray(Ryan), Elijah Ray, Abriella Ray, and Lee Estes;
Friend, Amanda St.John; nephews, Layne Gilliland and Rhyder Gilliland; and many others.
Kim was a loving mom, nanny, and friend to all who loved her and who was loved by her. She
enjoyed cooking, fishing, and gathering with her closest loved ones. Her smile was contagious
and her hugs were comforting. She was admired for her strength and her heart of gold. Life will
never be the same without her. She is deeply loved and severely missed.
