Kip S. Taylor, 64, of Marion, passed away at 5:50 a.m. on Monday, August 25, 2025, at Marion Health. She was born on Thursday, December 22, 1960, in Fort Knox, Kentucky, to the late Robert and Claudia (Decker) Smith.

Kip attended Eastbrook High School and went on to earn her Bachelor's degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. She dedicated her career to serving others as a Social Worker and also served her country honorably in the United States Army.

Kip had a deep love for her family and found great joy in cooking and sharing that passion with her grandchildren, teaching them to cook from an early age. Her warmth, strength, and generosity touched the lives of many.

She is survived by her daughter, Christy Taylor of Marion; her grandchildren, Gaige Colburn of Van Buren, Kennedi Freyholtz of Marion, and Mackenzie Bragg of Lafayette; her great-grandchildren, Brealynn, Ryleigh, and Uriah; her sister, Donna (Jason) Shelton of Silver Lake; her brother, Robert "Duffy" (Darlene) Smith of Upland; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Claudia Smith.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, August 29, 2025, at Grant Memorial Park, 1606 W. 26th St., Marion, IN. Pastor Dan Van Cise will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.

Arrangements are entrusted to Integrity Funeral Care, 1606 W. 26th St., Marion, IN.
