Landon James Shaffer, 17, of Marion, Indiana, passed away at 2:58 a.m. on Tuesday, August 5, 2025. Born on Friday, November 16, 2007, in Marion, he was the beloved son of Heath Shaffer and Casey Jones.

Landon was a student at Marion High School where he was known for his intelligence and quick wit. He had a passion for gaming, especially playing Call of Duty on his Xbox, and found joy in riding dirt bikes and four-wheelers. He cherished time spent with his friends and had a playful spirit, often teasing his sister in the way only a brother could.

He is survived by his parents; sisters, Savannah Shaffer and Cynthianna Vest; brothers, Rickey Reynolds III of Marion and Weston Vest; grandmother, Mary Ann Reynolds of Marion; aunts, Ashley Shaffer and Michelle Jones; uncle, Eric Jones; stepmother, Brittany Vest; and a close family friend, George Hernandez.

Landon was preceded in death by his sister, Breanna Marie Reynolds; grandmothers, Tracy A. Jones and Gina Shaffer; grandfather, Ronald L. Shaffer; and uncle, Ricky Jones Jr.

The family will receive visitors from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at Grant Memorial Park Mausoleum, 1606 W. 26th., Marion, IN.

Immediately following the time of visitation, a funeral service to celebrate Landon's life will be held at 2:00 pm at Grant Memorial Park Mausoleum with Pastor Darrell Smith officiating.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Integrity Funeral Care, 1606 W. 26th St, Marion, IN.
