Kirk H. St. Croix, 56, Max, ND formerly of Minot, ND, died Friday, January 12, 2024 in a Minot hospital.
Kirk Harold St. Croix was born on February 23, 1967, the son of Colin and Karen K. (Everson) St. Croix in Tacoma, WA. He was raised and educated in Minot, where he attended Minot Public Schools.
Following his education, Kirk began working in the automobile industry. He worked for various companies, including Jim Ryan Chevrolet, Don Bessette Motors and later alongside his father at St. Croix Motor Company. He later worked alongside his son Casey at Plains Trucking until 2014, retiring for health concerns.
Kirk enjoyed anything with a motor on it. He was an accomplished race car driver specializing in Stock cars and mini stocks, riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, and working on small engines.
Kirk was a loving son, father, grandfather, and friend and will be missed by all that knew him.
Kirk is survived by:
Carrie St. Croix and their children: Casey, Gunnar, Tucker, Zoe and Jett; five grandchildren: Jerzee, Jagger, Clover, Charley, Chanller and Stryhr; his father Colin, and sisters Sommer and Camille;
It was Kirk's wish that a formal funeral service not be held, but a celebration of life, so according with his wishes a memorial gathering will take place on February 23 at 5pm at the Sleep Inn, Minot.
