Kristi Lynn Krueger, a beacon of love and kindness, passed away on January 9, 2025, at the age of 55. Born on March 30, 1969, in Alpena, Kristi's life was a tapestry of cherished moments and enduring relationships. She departed this world in Lachine, after a courageous battle with cancer, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and compassion.
Kristi was the beloved daughter of Ardene (Raymond) Gardner and the late John C. McClure. Her life was a testament to the power of family bonds, as she embraced her role as a nurturing mother, grandmother, sister, and partner. She is survived by her devoted children, Katrina (Jacob) Nadeau and James Shepherd III (Brittany Alverson), who will forever hold her memory in their hearts. Kristi's joy was multiplied by her adoring grandchildren, Farrah Williams, Landon Williams, Alaina Nadeau, and Collin Nadeau, who were the light of her life.
Her siblings, Kurtis (Sharon) McClure, Kevin (Cathy) McClure, and Kimberly Paczkowski (Chris Fochtman), will remember Kristi for her unwavering support and the laughter they shared. Kristi will also be missed by her stepmother, Cindy McClure and her long-time partner, Allan Kozdron. Her many nieces and nephews also felt the warmth of her love and the generosity of her spirit.
Kristi's interests were a reflection of her creative and adventurous soul. She had a talent for crafting, which brought beauty into the world and joy to those around her. Her voice was a gift that she shared through her love of karaoke, leaving melodies that will echo in the hearts of her loved ones. Traveling was one of Kristi's passions, and she cherished the opportunity to explore new places and create lasting memories with her family.
Kristi is at McWilliams Funeral Home where family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 from 1pm until the time of the service at 3pm with Rev. Joshua Schultz officiating. Memorial donations can be made to the Alpena Cancer Center, and Hospice of Michigan.
