With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Kristopher Paul Rahn, 32, of
Lewistown, PA. Kris passed suddenly on December 3, 2024 leaving behind his wife, Loren Mattern Rahn, newborn daughter, Mallory Harper, and two beloved pups, Colt and Ruger. Kris was known throughout his circles to be a fun loving, good hearted, well grounded family guy. He worked hard to constantly better himself, build a better life for his family, and be the best friend possible to his buddies. To his father and mother, he was all they could have ever dreamed of. He was the best son a mother could want, he never once disappointed them. He never did anything except make them proud and happy. Kris would often speak fondly of his upbringing, specifically mentioning how he loved playing educational games with his dad for hours on end after he would get home from work. Kris was excited to do the same once baby Mallory was ready to start her learning journey. Kris loved to learn. He was always reading up about stocks, the latest healthy food recommendations, global news, and historical discoveries he had a true hunger for knowledge and always found the answer to a question he didn't know. Everyone knew and loved this about him. Kris met the love of his life, his soulmate and best friend, on October 2, 2020 and went on to propose on their one year anniversary. Kris & Loren married May 7, 2022 and started their storybook lives together in Lewistown. You could see the love they had for each other from across any room. The way their connection was palpable was something for the books. Kris was the perfect partner in every way, and these two were yin and yang. Kris and Loren were blessed with three pups during their time together, Titus (d.2021) Colt & Ruger, as well as a beautiful baby girl, Mallory Harper, September 13, 2024. While their time together was short, Kris was the absolute best father to beautiful Mallory. Kris wanted nothing more than to be a husband and father. His dreams were reality. Kris would talk and read to Mallory in the womb, holding her close, and once she arrived they were inseparable. Kris and Mallory were two peas in a pod for these short 2.5 months, dancing and singing and babbling away all day long. Every child deserves a father like Kris, so in love and so diligent. Kris was an avid wrestler since grade school, wrestling at Haddonfield Middle School with his Uncle Michael coaching and then onto Haddonfield High School in New Jersey. He then went on to wrestle for Gannon University and Baker University. While attending university, Kris was also a member and chair for Delta Chi fraternity. He was beloved amongst his brothers and team like no other. Truly the life of the party while always being the friend you could count on no matter what. Kris went on to be an assistant coach at Ottawa University while working towards his masters where he partook in rebuilding a program that went on to achieve great things. Once Kris & Loren got settled in Lewistown, Kris started volunteering at the Mifflin County High School to be an assistant coach for the wrestling team. This was going to be Kris' third season with the team; he looked forward to attending practice and helping the boys out all week long. Kris & Loren were incredibly thankful for the community they'd built for themselves, the wrestling and Kiwanis community especially. Kris is survived by his wife and daughter, Loren & Mallory Rahn, mother, Kristin Martinovich, father, Frank (Bud) Rahn, stepbrother, Anthony Meloni, brother, Nicky Rahn, sister, Taylor Rahn (Pat Vais), and nieces Savanna & Anna Vais. He is preceded in death by his brother, Buddy Rahn. Kris is beloved by all who knew him, and he never met a stranger. He touched so many lives through his kindness and genuine, goofy soul. The family invites any and all friends of Kris' that would like to share their condolences to attend a visitation from 1- 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at King Funeral Home, 47 Carriage House Lane,
