Lakeshia Nicole Montgomery, age 45 of Thomasville, NC departed this earthly life on Saturday, March 29, 2025.
Lakeshia graduated from Thomasville High School. She was a very bright spirit who brought joy to every room she walked into. She made many meaningful and strong connections throughout her life. Known to many as Keshia, she was the friend and family member that you could depend on for anything and she made sure everyone around her was okay before she thought about herself.
Keshia loved her mom and her only daughter with all her heart. She was also a hard worker. She was very humorous, bubbly, funny, and had also had a positive vibe. Keshia always brought good energy.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harry Lee Montgomery; maternal grandparents, Annie Lee and Henry Smith; paternal grandmother, Mary Montgomery; three uncles and one aunt.
Keshia leaves loving memories to her beloved daughter, Te’Nyia Montgomery-Rippy; her loving mother, Willie Mae Montgomery; two brothers, Junius Montgomery and Terry Montgomery; nieces and nephews, Shaquilla, Shaidashia, Kreo, Junius, Jarius, Jamius; aunts, Odether Peguese, Retha Thompson, Stella Brown, Bertha Smith, Gloria Canty; uncles, Nathan Smith and Hosie Brown; god-children, Breana, Justyce, and Qay’Ceon; partner, Calvin Owens; best friends, Lakisha, Denie, and Aquanetta; many loving cousins and other friends.
