Larry Robert Campbell, 85, a born-again Christian has gone on to Heaven to spend eternity with his personal savior, Jesus Christ.
Larry, one of 14 children to Hayward and Eva Harper Campbell of Bridgeport, WV, was born on January 3, 1939.
Surviving is his wife, Polly Ann Witten Campbell. Their life together was a gift from God, they were soulmates. Larry was a strong Christian, putting others first, grateful for his life and family, he was proud of his sons, Greg and Mark, of the fathers they became. Larry retired from Borg Warner (GE) after 34 years.
Sharing in the heart ache are Larry's two sons, Greg (Amanda) and Mark (Kira); three grandsons, Josh (Amber), Zac (Lacy) and Elijah; two granddaughters, Krista Campbell (Josh) and Olivia Campbell; four great grandsons, Lucas, Logan, Jaxon and River; one great granddaughter, Alexis; sisters, Marjorie Marshall (Bob), Conda Mace, Linda Fragman (Greg), Vicki Maxwell, Sandy Smart and Beverly Reckenwald; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Meeting Larry at Heaven's gate are sisters, Becky Patton, Janet Brunetti, Barbara Campbell, Carolyn Campbell, Donita Robinson, Verna Clark; brother, Jake Campbell; brothers in law, Arthur Patton, Ernest Robinson, Keith Clark, Fred Smart, Wayne Reckenwald and Jim Mace.
A special thanks to the Strecker Cancer Center, Cawley Hospice, Dr. Kelli Cawley, Marcia McCullough and their team of special angels.
Abiding with his wishes there will be no services, no flowers please. Donations in his memory may be made to Cawley Hospice, in memo line put Hospice House or Foundation, 2730 Washington Blvd., Belpre, Ohio 45714.
